It is that time of year again. Time to pay your AAUW dues. This time $46 of the $49 national dues are deductible. Because AAUW is restructuring and the IRS Section 501©(3) charitable entity, to be called AAUW, will house the membership, most of your national AAUW membership dues for FY 2010 will be considered by the IRS to be a charitable deduction. The balance of the national dues, $3 is not deductible because it supports the AAUW Action Fund’s Section 501©(4) Lobby Corps and get-out-the-vote activities. Branch member continue to pay your dues by check to your branch as you always have done. Members-at-large will pay the entire $49 national dues by a single check or online.
