Collections for the Houston-Peach Branch’s Annual Used Book Sale continue to “reach to the ceiling.”  In the accompanying picture, Marlene Humphry, Sale Co-Chair, and Carrie Smith, Branch C0-President, stack sorted and priced books for the 47th annual Houston-Peach Used Book Sale to be held at Houston-Mall in Warner Robins on October 25, 26, and 27.  Books are still being accepted at the mall and at Happy Hour Recycling Center. Arrangements can also be made for pick up of larger donations; call 478-918-3666. All donations are tax deductible.

For Georgia State AAUW Branches that sponsored student participants to NCCWSL this year, you are encouraged to follow up with those students and invite interaction, promote connectivity between students and members.  It is a wonderful experience the students are eager to share … and a development opportunity to celebrate.
