AAUW Atlanta Bookfair

Atlanta & Cobb County Branches’ Collaborative Project

Through the efforts of a truly dedicated core of volunteers from the Atlanta & Cobb Branches, AAUW’s Atlanta Bookfair raised $45,000 during our 2021-22 fiscal year to fund 2022-23 fiscal year philanthropy projects including scholarships for women and donations to charities local and beyond that benefit girls, women, and families. Bookfair volunteers collect, clean and then resell gently used, donated books via online sales on Amazon as well as sales at Westside Market Toco Hill in Atlanta.  Books that cannot be resold through one of these avenues are either donated to other worthwhile organizations or recycled.
